Welcome to the Association of Literature on Screen Studies

The Association of Literature on Screen Studies is a group of people drawn from literature and film backgrounds whose aim is to bring together the diverse strands and developments in the field.

The aims of the Association are:
∙ To disseminate ideas across disciplines
∙ To challenge assumptions concerning the boundaries of literature on screen
∙ To increase postgraduate work in the field
∙ To support conferences
∙ To enlarge the place of teaching of literature on screen within the
  curriculum

The 3rd Annual Association of Literature on Screen Conference will be held in Amsterdam, 24 - 26 September, 2008.

The 1st Annual Association of Literature on Screen Conference was held at De Montfort University, UK, in September 2006.
The 2nd Annual Association of Literature on Screen Conference was held at in Atlanta, USA, in September 2007.
